Beautiful shower installed in an older home, above and beyond service

We bought an older home that had an old shower that needed replaced. I contacted Bath Planet. Jeremy (who is a plumber himself) came out and explained the entire process, measured and remeasured the shower area, worked with us to design a beautiful and functioning shower, and explained the costs and the timeline for demolition and installation. Once demolition started, Andy (another plumber) discovered a badly-damaged subfloor, completely covered by mold. This necessitated a complete overhaul of the entire shower. We took lots of photos of the rotting subfloor and sent it into our homeowner's insurance, along with a report (that Jeremy wrote himself, after assessing the damage), describing the water damage and mold that was found. Andy spent several hours replacing the subfloor. He was meticulous about it. The subfloor cost us an extra $500, which we turned in to the insurance company. Once the subfloor was completed, Andy installed the shower panels, plus a beautiful shower head that pulls down, a grab bar, and a corner shelf. The end result is absolutely gorgeous, and the shower works flawlessly! It has totally transformed this old, dated shower into a place where we look forward to showering every day! Jeremy, Andy, and Sarge were wonderful to work with and knew exactly what to do when the issue of the rotting subfloor came up. This was obviously not their first rodeo. They didn't skip a beat and worked tirelessly until the job was completed properly. I am so grateful! Thank you to this great team of professional plumbers who have gone above and beyond for us.
