I'm the guy who scours the Internet ad nauseam researching for the best deal or best customer reviews for my current endeavor, be it to purchase an item or have work done at home. I never reciprocate; I never leave a review. Except this time. After countless hours of research and comparisons (driving my wife crazy) and getting three quotes, I decided that Bath Planet was the best company to go with for our bathtub to shower conversion. Although each vendor had similar product lines, Bath Planet had what we were looking for. And priced thousands of dollars less than the other quotes we received. Being associated with a long established business was also a major factor. Due to current material shortages affecting all supply chains, our project was delayed for about 2 months. BP always kept us informed on the status along the way. Finally installation day arrived. Guil and another gentlemen, whose name I forgot, began by setting heavy duty drop clothes along the entire pathway from the front door, up the stairs, and into the bathroom. The removal of the existing tub was done with minimal dust. Installation of the new shower began with a discussion of the locations for everything from the height of the shower control valve, to taking measurements for the location of a plumbing access panel that I was going to install later. Clean up after the install was a breeze. They even took the plastic I had covered the sink counter with. The install was done on a Friday. I had one minor issue with the placement of one of the grab bars. I called on Monday morning and Josh was out the following afternoon to make a minor adjustment. Renee followed up with a call about the overall process and if everything was satisfactory after Josh's visit. All-in-all, I was very pleased with Bath Planet's performance. I recommend, without any reservations, that you consider them in handing a similar tub to shower conversion project.
